The Sonics Ultra II is our newest ultrasonic reactor probe. It can be installed into the pipeline of any biodiesel plant to increase the production capacity, decrease the footprint of the reactors, improve methylester conversion, lower the amount of required methanol and catalyst and/or lower the required reaction temperature and time. In short, the Sonics Ultra II does it faster and better. Thanks to the small size the unit can be installed into any regular 2″ pipeline as per attached drawing.
Existing plants can benefit from Ultrasound cavitation in no time. The Sonics Ultra II can be installed just before the heat exchanger, or just after the first mixing section of a regular plant. Batch reactors using pump mixing can add the Sonics Ultra II in the circulation line and reduce reaction time down to 15 minutes.
